Die Humanistische Union Berlin-Brandenburg präsentiert beim diesjährigen One World Festival (16. – 22. November in Berlin) mehrere ausgezeichnete Filme:<\/p>\n

„Art is a State of Encounter (The Beggar Project)“
„Playing to Change the World (Three Men Shouting)“
<\/b>Österreich\/Ungarn 2005
Regie: Andrea Schneemeier<\/p>\n

Für „Art is a State of Encounter (The Beggar Project)“ beobachtete Andrea Schneemeier Obdachlose in den Straßen von Wien und dokumentierte in Bild und Ton. Das entstandene Video verweist auf das Anrecht jedes Menschen wahrgenommen zu werden, kritisiert aber gleichzeitig die zunehmende Überwachung durch Videokameras im öffentlichen Raum.<\/p>\n

Die Dokumentation „Playing to Change the World (Three men Shouting)“ zeigt eine Performance von drei schwarz vermummten Männern im November 2004 in der Wiener U-Bahnstation Karlsplatz. Das Aussehen und die Agitationsweise der Männer rufen Assoziationen mit bedrohlichen Situationen hervor, wie sie täglich im Fernsehen ausgestrahlt werden, werden aber durch die laut gerufenen philosophischen Texte von Jürgen Habermas, Michel Foucault und Gilles Deleuze konterkariert.<\/p>\n

Im Anschluss an die Filmvorführung findet ein Gespräch mit der Regisseurin Andrea Schneemeier statt.<\/p>\n
